Studio Policy

  • School does not assume liability for injuries sustained on premises.

  • Physical, verbal, or emotionally abusive behavior from students or parents will result in immediate dismissal from our studio.

  • Proper dress and hair is required for all children's classes. For students under the age of 5, we simply encourage parents to dress their children in attire that stretches and is comfortable for movement (this can be dance attire like leotards and tights or street attire like leggings and tank tops - comfort is key!). For student over the age of 5 (excluding adults), the dress code for ballet classes includes tights, a black leotard, and hair in a neat bun. Form-fitting clothes are required for all other genres including jazz, lyrical, and acro classes (no baggy clothing, please). Dress code for hip-hop is sweatpants and street sneakers or combat boots. Dress code for tap is based on the individual instructor's discretion. There is no specific dress code for adult classes, although form-fitting attire is recommended for effective form correction.

  • Proper foot attire is essential for all classes. Please note the following:
Ballet - Pink ballet slippers for females / black for males, split-sole highly recommended for dancers above age 6
Pointe - Please consult with Willa before purchasing
Jazz and Lyrical/Contemporary - Tan, slip-on jazz shoes (no laces)
Tap - Please consult with instructor before purchasing as styles vary from class to class.
Hip-Hop - Street sneakers (preferably high-tops) or combat boots
    Modern - Barefoot
    Acro - Barefoot
